About us

I am a 34 year old mum of three, Elliot (6 yrs), Paisley (4 yrs) and Willow (2 yrs). I taught at our local school and have been teaching for 9 years. I am taking a break from teaching to be with my kids and live a life of more freedom from the traditional 9-5. I have always loved and owned animals and take pride in sharing them with others, creating memorable experiences.

I have run horse lessons and clinics in the past, but could never devote all of my time to this with my teaching career, so look forward to building this side of the business again too as my kids get older. This side of things began all the way back in 2010, as Versatile Equines. In 2018, I expanded to Versatile Equines and Farmyard Friends.

Our property is just 3 acres, but we can fit a whole lot of love, fun and furry creatures on it! As well as our animal side, we are lucky enough to have a 2 bedroom cottage we run as an Airbnb. Our house is also so large, that we Airbnb one of the rooms here too. I want to ditch being a 'slave to the man' forever and tell people on Sandon Block Road, I am building my empire!
