Pony Parties
At a Pony Party the focus is on ponies! There are lots of things to do. Catching, grooming, petting, learning about them, doing obstacles with them, feeding them, playing, riding them and generally just having fun! As part of this package we also provide you with a space to eat food, play games and hang out with your guests.
This package is for 3 hours and includes (booking time does not include set up and pack down):
An introductory session where you learn about each horse/pony and get to meet them and learn about how to be safe around them
Activity time/riding with/on the ponies, every child will get one pony ride (more is possible). Birthday child will have more if time.
Meet the other animals briefly and feed them
A place to celebrate your party and play
Catering options available or BYO (fridge and full kitchen available)
Tea, coffee and drinking water supplied free.

PRICE: $300
NB: Riding will be dependant upon age/weight of the children, experience level and horses/ponies available so please let me know approx ages of children attending and I can let you know our availability.

Farmyard Parties
At a Farmyard Party the focus is on being surrounded by lots of friendly, social animals! There are lots of things to do and options to choose from. Catching, grooming, petting, learning about them, doing obstacles with them, feeding them, playing and generally just having fun. At the moment we have chooks, a pig, sheep, 6 ponies, a dog, a kitten and a cat.
This package for 2 hours and includes (booking time does not include set up and pack down):
An introductory session where you learn about all of the animals and get to meet them.
Activity time with the animals
A place to celebrate your party and play
Catering options available or BYO (fridge and full kitchen available)
Tea, coffee and drinking water supplied free

I can also bring some animals to you, please enquire for an estimate. Also check out our 'Birthday Special' package at the bottom of the page. If you'd like a private pony ride for the birthday child, this can be added for an extra $25.

Birthday Party Special
Choose either the Pony Party or the Farmyard Party option to add your Birthday Party Special to.
In the Birthday Party package you will receive:
A selection of 3 pre-arranged party games (normally pass the parcel, egg and spoon race and freeze dance)
A birthday badge for child to wear and keep
Downloadable party invitations
A birthday gift for the birthday child
A photo shoot with the animals/ponies of the birthday child's choice
Decorated birthday party eating space (balloons, streamers etc)
Use of speaker for birthday music
PRICE - an additional $100 on top of the price of either a Pony or Farmyard Party

Travelling Party
As well as you coming here, I can bring the ponies/animals to you! All prices will be more precisely quoted depending on your situation and location, but as a rough guide here is a quote I put together for a 4 year old party at Waitarere Beach
1 pony for leading rides and 1 pony for kids to brush/lead (likely will be 2 ponies to play with as can fit 3 in the float)
Ridden pony can take up to 30kg-ish, depending on build of the child
It is $250 for the first hour and then $50 for each 1/2 hour after that
I provide all gear needed, including safety helmets, it is advised pony participants bring covered shoes to wear
I also have a teenager who generally comes and helps out too
I find normally that one hour is long enough and guarantee every child gets a ride up to 12 kids ish within that time. If there are more kids will need longer.
$100 in travel, normally charge 50c per km to cover fuel, wear and tear, RUC and my time
So for a one hour booking including travel, $350.
